Whole day training course with HM on lesson observations. I observed LK and MPU and learnt how to make a lesson judgement.

New tracking proforma set up for KS1 and KS2.
Memo sent to request that mini-sat assessments are to be recorded after each unit has been completed.

Met with LK (science coordinator) to talk about what she would have done if she was still coordinator this year.
Discussed use of APP and end of unit assessment.
Looked at tracking, attainment and progress.
Met with BJ to discuss draft action plan.
Spent the afternoon writing up draft action plan to share with KK.
Next steps - use tracking from last year to calculate attainment and progress last year.
Meet with MA and LW to discuss year A and Year B in science assessment.
Order new required resources.

Met with KK re: new way of planning maths. Discussed how top group pace is hard to maintain in bottom group. We talked about have a SC where level three is the middle ground for both groups.
Met re: Science this term. I have a day out of class (1st Nov) to meet with LK and link Gov 12:00-13:00. From this an action plan shall be formed. 'If I was science coordinator for a year, I would do...'
Discussed seeing the need for an after school club in the new year.
Discussed looking at assessment and making sure that it is fit for purpose.
Discussed uplevelling AT1 and SC1 in work. Can all knowledge come from practical?
Discussed used of Science APP in Yr 1, 2 and 5. Shall we roll it out?

Reviewed the planning on Staff Common for Year 2 and Year. To discuss with KK how frequently this should be updated.
Updated Year 3 planning for Food and Teeth and Plants having not taught from this planning for two years due to PPA cover.
Looked through training opportunities to discuss with KK
Spoke with LK and RG about arranging a morning for Science handover with previous coordinator.
Attended Middle Management training 10th October with HM. Discussed a middle managers role in OFSTED and different styles of leadership. Gap task set about level of leadership in school.

Middle Managers training on Raise on-line and understanding data for whole school and Year 3.
Completed gap tasks on our improvements post-Ofsted, updating tracking and reflecting on our year group against OFSTED criteria.
26th September - I rolled out this training to KW, BH and SD.
