Wrote Aut 2 science memo for staff about end of term tasks.

Used Yr 6 data to calculate Average points progress.

Middle Management Training and Ordering Nov 2012

Monday 12th November pm session with HM on giving feedback. This was discussed with year 3 and 4 staff on Wednesday 21st November in staff meeting.
Worked with Kerry and after school to order New Science resources for KS2. Order made Tuesday 20th November.
Resources arrived in school on Friday 23rd November and were checked off by AC.

10-11 Nov 2012

Spent time calculating attainment and points progress made in KS2 science.

5th November

Whole day training course with HM on lesson observations. I observed LK and MPU and learnt how to make a lesson judgement.

4th November

Spent time calculating attainment and points progress for 2011-12 for Yr 3 - 5.

New tracking proforma set up for KS1 and KS2.
Memo sent to request that mini-sat assessments are to be recorded after each unit has been completed.

November 1st 2012

Met with LK (science coordinator) to talk about what she would have done if she was still coordinator this year.
Discussed use of APP and end of unit assessment.
Looked at tracking, attainment and progress.
Met with BJ to discuss draft action plan.
Spent the afternoon writing up draft action plan to share with KK.

Next steps - use tracking from last year to calculate attainment and progress last year.
Meet with MA and LW to discuss year A and Year B in science assessment.
Order new required resources.
